The weather may still feel reminiscent of winter, but folks in Milwaukee are already gearing up for summer and dreaming of fresh, local produce from area farms. And the Urban Ecology Center is helping consumers connect the dots when it comes to sourcing more of their produce locally.

Lynn Jack is a yoga instructor who is pairing yoga with winter activities at the Urban Ecology Center. The classes, which begin in January, will include a yoga piece along with cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

The Hank Aaron State Trail is a one-of-a-kind urban oasis for people looking for a quick and scenic escape from the city, as well as a centrally located express route for Milwaukeeans to get between home and work, Brewers games and many of the city's summer festivals. Now, with a new western extension and more plans for expansion in the works, even more residents can take advantage of one of the city's most convenient trails.
